I have always loved travelling and the movies, a passion which led me to New Zealand to write a doctoral thesis on film location tourists. Prior to this I worked in the tourism industry in various roles and am currently a Senior Consultant for a tourism market research and marketing institute in Bavaria, Germany.

My extensive expertise includes market research (quantitative and qualitative), business development, value added analysis, feasibility studies, marketing consulting, regional development strategies, workshop moderation and, last but not least, script development for image films. Whilst in New Zealand, I also worked as a Lord of the Rings film location guide.
